Crane Lake is a value-driven brand produced by Franzia and Bronco Wine Company. The majority of these wines are produced in California, with some branching out into Australia (for Down Under Chardonnay and others). These are available in supermarkets and most retailers.
By far the best value for the price. This wine is the best of the worst. A great wine to bring a party or dinner.
This wine is tough to score. On the one hand it is not very good, but on the other hand, it's not unpleasant and it's only $3.99 (I'm not sure where Snooth gets their price). I agree whole heartedly with aronowm2, this is "the best of the worst." Two Buck Chuck in a different bottle.
This has the harsest after taste. It doesnt even have a vineyard! They just collect all the grapes from Napa that no one wants. I did not enjoy this.
Sprouts Farmers Market sells it for 3/$10 and does very well. It's bottled in Napa Valley and for a dinner wine you can't lose. For that price I give it a 4 rating.
