Craigow’s wines express the unique character of the Coal River region. Our varieties are selected to suit the area’s growing conditions – they’re the same cool-climate European varieties that thrive in Burgundy and Alsace. Craigow seems to attract doctors with energy and innvoative ideas. In 1989, Criagow’s owner Dr Barry Edwards and his family planted vines on the sunny slopes overlooking the Coal River, harvesting their first vintage in 1993.
