Red-ruby. Floral aromas of dark berries, bitter cherry, cedar and dill; shows a briary, zin-like quality. Offers good texture but is currently rather dry and backward. Flavors of blackberry, dark chocolate and espresso are kept under wraps by the wine structure. Still a bit rigid on the back end. Hard to judge today, but clearly will require time in bottle.
