Couvillion Sauvignon Blanc Columbia Valley Hoobie 2005

Member Review by drdebs:

Very nice blend of sauvignon blanc (76%) and Semillon (24%) to produce a white Bordeaux-style blend in Washington. Pale straw in color. Shy aromas of pear and herbs. Palate of pear, citrus. Very refreshing but not at all assertive, grassy, or acidic. Very good with food (roast chicken with lemon and rosemary).

I tasted this wine from the first release and two years later and it surprisingly just keeps tasting excellent! It is still available from the winemaker and from http://www.wallawallawinewoman.com
