Cour-Cheverny Cuvée Renaissance Cazin 2002

External Review by Astor Wines & Spirits:

Cazin tends vines of considerable age and the resulting yields are well below average in any given year. The flavors here are sleek and precise with a shocking intensity of crisp lemony acidity.

The white wine, Cour-Cheverny, is made from Romorantin, a grape of unknown origin introduced to the region in 1519. Fresh acidity, lightly viscous, Romorantin often develops Chenin-like flavors of wax, hay, and petrol with bottle age. An off-dry, white wine.
