County Line Pinot Noir Rose 2007

Member Review by Caligibson:

This is a beautiful Rose done by Eric Sussman of Radio-Coteau, a masterful Pinot Noir producer. I find it impressive that Sussman went without utilizing the saignee method, instead picking his grapes with brighter acidity and lower sugars to intentionally craft this elegant whole cluster press Pinot Noir Rose. A light pinkish hue, this wine has wonderfully bracing acidity balanced with soft, light red fruit tones. Lean and racy – a mouthful of summer flowers, wet stones and rainier cherries reminiscent of true Provencial style.
