Tasting Notes:

This wine displays complex, red berry aromas with smoky vanilla notes. On the palate, it is warm and juicy with a velvety character, and ripe tannins are apparent as a firm but flexible structure.

El Coto de Rioja was established in 1970, and doubled in size between 1990 and 1997. Their vineyards incorporate three varieties of soils—limestone clay, ferrous clay, and alluvial soil—each of which adds its own unique quality to the grapes produced.
