Cotes du Provence Rose Domaine Houchart 2012
Soft pink and exceptional clarity. The Domaine Houchart Rose has an inviting nose with raspberry, and touches of herbs de provence. Palate is poised with acidity and balance of fresh berries and pink grapefruit. This develops wonderfully in the glass. Simple, classic rose - Zachys Buying Team
REALLY happy with this one as a bright, simple yet interesting dry Provence rose. A fragrant and pretty nose: fresh, simple and sweet with notes of freesia, honey, cantaloupe, and soft citrus/meyer lemon. Bright on the palate as well, with all the above, slight blueberry? notes, and some minerality tempered by a surprising mouth filling softness and notes of almond/marzipan. Well integrated acid and surprisingly long finish. Perhaps the best value I've found in a rose from provence thus far.
Pale pink with a soft fresh nose. A very pleasant wine for Salmon or Snapper
Nice and complex.
I'm really not much of a rose kinda guy, but I have to admit that I enjoyed this for what it is. This wine is quite fruity, with definite notes of strawberry and other red fruits. Purchased for consumption on a hot day (for without food), I initially served this at too low a temperature, resulting in an unpleasant bitterness. As the wine rose to a more appropriate temperature, the nose and taste opened up in a pleasing way, becoming smoother and richer, without losing the simplicity that gives such a wine its mid-summer's day appeal. I probably won't buy again, as I prefer a crisp white on a hot day, but I don't regret having purchased the one bottle.

Plump and friendly, with peach, mango and white cherry notes framed with a gentle floral edge. A very open, accessible style, fresh and detailed. Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault, Grenache and Syrah. Drink now.
Light and fresh, this is a crisp, red berry flavored wine with lively acidity and a dry, bright aftertaste. Ready to drink.
Light orange. Strawberry and pink grapefruit on the fragrant nose. Red berry and citrus zest flavors are nicely focused and dry, with a deeper cherry quality appearing on the back half. Spreads out on the finish, leaving behind a juicy tangerine note.
Caramel and spice flavored that is full-bodied and rich. With its weight, this red plum and ripe strawberry flavored wine is for food, dry and finishing with just the right amount of acidity. Screwcap.
This lush version is full of juicy flavors of cherry and raspberry, with accents of honeydew melon and cardamom. Drink now.
Light, bright orange-pink. Spicy citrus pith and red berries on the nose, with notes of herbs and white pepper adding complexity. Firm, focused and racy, offering tart cranberry and orange flavors and a late note of tarragon. Refreshingly dry on the finish.
One of the great expressions of Provence Rose. This wine is one of the most popular rose's in the USGreat as an aperitif. Also goes very well with salad, seafood and white meats! David Milligan Selections Website
