Cote Rotie Montmain Ferraton Pere et Fils 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

92 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "I love both 2014 Côte Rôties, which are undeniable successes in the vintage. From a site in the northern sector of the appellation (close to Grandes Places), the 2014 Côte Rôtie Lieu Dit Montmain sports a deep ruby/purple color as well as ripe, voluptuous, serious notes of black raspberries, incense, toasted bread, lavender and spice. I love its aromatics and it’s elegant, medium-bodied and downright silky on the palate. Made from 100% Syrah and aged in 15% new French oak, drink it through 2024." 12/16 #228
