Elegant bouquet of dark cherry on the nose with some subtle spices. On the palate, the acidity is quite high but very well balanced and gives great freshness on the mid palate. The fruits are showing well, with blackcurrant, dark cheeries and blueberries with a second layer of provencal herbs and white pepper. I really like the freshness in this wine. It is joyful, yet has a great presence in the mouth with a solid structure. Soft finish with more spice. QC

This is the ultimate Côte-Rôtie in our opinion. It's delicate yet rich, silken and concentrated yet showing a true expression of terroir from the Chavaroche vineyard site in the Northern Rhône.

Winemaker's Notes:

A classic Côte Rôtie, with an immediately delightful nose of lavender, smoky
bacon and black olive; then a suitably matted palate, with layers of
blackberry fruit and a profundity to underline quality.

Simon Field M.W. - Rhône Buyer
