The rarest of the rare, this single vineyard Cote Rotie from Guigal is one of the most collectible wines in the world. We only received one bottle to sell. Incredibly powerful, concentrated and layered, it typically take 10 years of cellaring before it starts to reveal all of its true complexities. The La Mouline vineyard is a mere 3.5 acres.

A wild Rhône wine that boasts a musky, blood like character alongside dense brooding licorice and black berries. Structured, vibrant and a real show stopper if you're looking for real wine from the northern Rhône.

A tradtional wine from the Côte-Rôtie with a beautiful bouquet.

Winemaker's Notes:

"The limited production but phenomenal 2004 Cote Rotie La Belle Helene is one<br/>of the candidates for the wine of the vintage. Tannic and dense ruby/purple, it<br/>is more masculine and austere than usual, but still concentrated with tangy<br/>acidity, loads of tannin, and impressive levels of concentration and richness.<br/>This is a beauty that will require patience. Give it 3-4 years of bottle age<br/>and then drink it over the following 10-12 years..."<br/><br/>(Robert Parker - Wine Advocate - Apr-2007)
