Cote de Tablas Rouge Tablas Creek 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

The 2008 Côtes de Tablas shows a juicy, vibrant, spicy nose with a little minty lift. Its flavors alternate between red raspberry and darker fruits, with refreshing acidity and a licorice-laced finish with gently lingering tannins.

Tablas Creek Vineyard:
Tablas Creek, founded by the Perrin brothers of Chateau de Beaucastel and Robert Haas of Vineyard Brands, produces organically farmed, estate-grown Rhone varietals and blends in the limestone clay soils of west Paso Robles.

Supple and harmonious, with ripe, fleshy plum, black cherry and wild berry fruit that's full-bodied, gaining complexity and ending with a dash of tar, nutmeg and spice. Grenache, Syrah, Counoise and Mourvèdre. Drink now through 2016. 2,300 cases made... Wine Spectator. A Proprietary Blend wine from California in USA. 2008 Tablas Creek Cote de Tablas 750ml

This is a blend of four estate grown grape varieties: Mourvèdre, Syrah, Grenache and a dash of Counoise. It's well-structured and very generous on the palate with dark berried fruit, raspberries and spice. Organic.
