- Black olive and black rose in the nose. Plum spice gets attention in the mouth, along with more blackberry, pepper and hints of mineral.

- Tasted at the winery and took home a bottle. Most expensive bottle I've purchased to date ($70 with winery discounts), but WELL WORTH IT. Drank with a simple mean of peppered steak and light pasta. Wonderful!
