Currants, black pepper and vanilla in the nose. Rich and broad on the palate spiced with pepper and a touch of clove- very intense and youthful with a rich center and excellent structure. Big in the mouth with a long finish. It should develop over the next 8-10 years and age gracefully for an additional 10 years.
The lots are punch cap fermented and remain separate for aging in barrels for 32 months prior to blending. The wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
