Corte Lenguin Amarone Della Valpolicella 2003

Member Review by EMark:

Deep opaque color. Somewhat alcoholic nose. Quite tart and hot initially on the palate. Somewhat "pruney" fruit flavor. This one may have been on the store's shelf too long. I bought it at an Italian deli in Arcadia about a month ago for UD$44.99.

Corte Lenguin:
Check out the website of this wonderful small producer in the heart of the Valpolicella Classico region. I have been a customer and friend for three generations. If you visit Verona, drive out to San Floriano, in the Comune de San Pietro in Cariano and visit the Vantinis. You will be greeted with warmth and samplings of their different wines. And send them regards from Giovanna!
