Cornas Granit 60 Vincent Paris 2014

Winemaker's Notes:

90-92 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:"Similar in style to the Granit 30, yet with additional structure, the 2014 Cornas Granit 60 Vielles Vignes comes from older vines located in the lieux-dits of Patou, Mazards and Sauman. Mostly destemmed and aged 18 months in two- to eight-year-old barrels, it reveals a sweet, voluptuous, medium to full-bodied and moderately tannic profile to go with classic Cornas notes of smoked earth, decomposed granite, wild herbs, blackberry and black currant fruit. While it’s more structured than the Granit 30, I still suspect it will be reasonably approachable in its youth." Issue 222, 12/15.
