- ($60) Moderately saturated ruby-red. Blackcurrant, cherry, plum, graphite, smoke and a whiff of tobacco on the nose. Rather tightly wound but juicy, with an edge of acidity giving shape to the sweet currant fruit. Lacks the flesh of the 2002 Kronos bottling. Today this is a bit hard, as the firm tannins and brisk acids have not yet come into harmony.
