Cordier Vire Clesse Vieilles Vignes 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Christophe Cordier is well known for the quality of the wines he produces from his own estate, Domaine Cordier. This wine comes from his negociant business, which allows him to venture further afield, explore the multitude of terroirs in the Maconnais and Beaujolais, and take his pick of the best fruit available. The Mâcon-Charnay has a nutty, honeycomb nose and balancing acidity hitched to ripe, peachy fruit and creamy undertones. A small amount of oak finishes the wine, giving it more weight on the mid-palate.

Nose with a touch of citrus/roasted nuts. Rich and full-bodied, creamy palate.
