Coppola Diamond Petite Sirah 2008
87 points Wine & Spirits: Round and soft, with sweet fruit and eucalyptus notes, this is a zin to pour with slow-braised pork. (Feb 2011) 89% Zinfandel, 11% Petite Sirah. A Zinfandel that pushes the envelope of decadence with voluptuous, concentrated flavors of fruit jam, chocolate and vanilla.
Very nice! - Tasted at winery Feb 2011
Nice garnet color. Black cherry, pepper and raspberry nose. Spicy but with good black fruits. Decent length on the finish. Not bad.
Very present grape. Plum👍
Comparable to the St. Francis Old Vines Zin from Sonoma County. Coppola knows how to get a wine done properly. Director's cut rocks the under $20 Zin bin. Funny thing is, Rosenblum gets it done for half the price!
It's wrong those grapes percentages: Blend: 92% Zinfandel, 6% Petite Sirah and 2% Primitivo

From the very beginning, Coppola's Diamond Zinfandel is captivating. A heavenly aroma of fresh raspberries and nutmeg greet you initially. Allow this wine to breathe so that the heartiness of the blackberry-dominated body will reveal its full flavor. This wine blends warm summery rhubarb and red currants with the blackberries and ends on a soft, simple peppery note.

Cranberry, wild, untamed raspberry and brambleberry notes are shaded with mocha, pepper spice and toasty vanilla. Find out for yourself why zinfandel and BBQ ribs are a match made in mouthwatering heaven.
Sourced from 'old vines' in Amador County and cooler vineyards in Paso Robles and Sonoma, our Zinfandel has exceptional depth and complexity. Petite Sirah is blended in to further enhance the luscious strawberry jam, cassis and briar flavors that follow its perfume of dark fruit, sweet spice and toasty vanilla. - Winery ** SOLD OUT **
