Cooralook Chardonnay Supporting Haiti Relief 2008

Winemaker's Notes:

Special Case Price: $162.00 (Reg: $180.00) 90 points - Wine Spectator An excellent Chardonnay from Down Under. We're pleased to offer Cooralook wines in our portfolio. The 2008 vintage is a crisp and clean Burgundian style Chardonnay that's both elegant and unassuming. Pale in color with flashes of green it's a pure expression of the great white grape. With enticing aromas of peach tropical fruits and hints of citrus characters with spicy undertones the palate is deliciously full. Crafted from grapes grown on a sunny plateau the wine exhibits a balanced structure with some fruit sweetness and finishes with a crisp dry lingering finish. This wine contributes 100% of net profits to The American Red Cross Haiti Relief. _____________________________________________________________ ABOUT COORALOOK WINES Cooralook Wines are owned and operated by Mem and Robert Kirby the owners of Yabby Lake Vineyard that recently had their Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula voted the "Best Red Wine" in Australia by the Penguin Guide by Huon Hooke.
