Cooper Mountain Vineyards Pinot Noir Willamette Valley Estate 2007
This organic and biodynamic Oregon Pinot bursts with tangy cranberry, raspberry, and pomegranate fruit and exudes a ton of elegance for a wine at this price point. Extremely stylish and graceful with sinuous lines, supple tannins, and great freshness in the mouth. This is a sensuous wine that delivers remarkable value.
RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
This is an interesting wine. Beautiful color, and at first sip there is a lightness in the mouth feel, the next perception is mineral, the next fruit, the last a somewhat more bitter mineral. Not negative, and I do like that this is certified organic, yet it is a little more mineral than I typically prefer.
Smooth slightly spicy Oregon Pinot. Really Really Good! Let it breathe before finishing the bottle
