Conundrum Red 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

It's proprietary and we believe the fun is exploring this intriguing wine. Conundrum Red is a non-traditional blend of California red grapes. This wine is truly a Conundrum in style which is unlike any other red blended wine. Aromas are rich, velvety and wonderfully appealing; floral notes with tones of lavender, dried berries, baking chocolate and bacon bits. Silky round entry with acid to balance the high fruit concentration. The palate is fruit driven both before and after the high tannin middle core. The finish is long, not drying of tannin and beckons a second sip. Enjoy this wine slightly to well-chilled.

Conundrum Wines:
What is that wonderfully robust, floral and bright tropical taste? Is it green apple, tangerine or honeysuckle? Could it possibly be apricot, melon, pear or light vanilla? That’s the Conundrum. Our proprietarily blend of California white grapes create a lush, creamy texture that leads to the mouth-watering question, “Mmmm, what’s in there?” We’re not telling. Can you guess?
