What is that wonderfully robust, floral and bright tropical taste? Is it green apple, tangerine or honeysuckle? Could it possibly be apricot, melon, pear or light vanilla? That’s the Conundrum. Our proprietarily blend of California white grapes create a lush, creamy texture that leads to the mouth-watering question, “Mmmm, what’s in there?” We’re not telling. Can you guess?
Versital white wine.......sharing the table with fried chicken, pan fried trout, BLT sandwiches, grilled pork chops, gumbo, summer salads, and blueberry pound cake.....stands up to all of it. The Conundrum has been a favorite for many years. Each vintage seeming to offer one constant.....surprise. As the name suggests.....there is a puzzle in each bottle......complex.....taking the best from each grape varietal.
This is a lovely white wine for summer evenings and barbecues with friends.
I liked this wine, my husband loved it with his trout. Great for a hot summer day. For me it almost hits that too sweet mark, but not quite.
light watered down yellow color, floral and peach nose with hints of viognier nose(fruit loops). Sweet with heavy hint on viognier, acidic. Great with bacon per Gary V. (@garyvee) Wish they would reveal their distribution of varietals.
By far my favirite White wine. Complex flavor, and well rounded finish. I do like whites a little sweet, and this has bite as well as warm fruity nodes. This is one that each glass is consistent, rather than turning your taste buds bitter or sour. Fantastic!
Conundrum - I could taste the nice flavor of this wine even after sharing 2 bottles of bubbly on New Years. My wife who likes crappy white zin also likes this as it is not a dry wine. A Swiss Army knife of white wines?
One of my favorite wines. I like to take a bottle with me on a cruise and drink on my balcony with lunch. It goes with everything or just by itself.

Tasting notes Powerful aromas of green apple, tangerine zest and honeysuckle. Core flavors of apricot, melon, pear and light vanilla are beautifully balanced by the sparkling acidity of citrus fruits. The lush, creamy, mouth-filling texture is heightened by powerful floral and bright tropical fruit notes and leads to a full, powerful finish. Wine maker notes Conundrum has repeatedly stood on its own as a dramatically different white wine blend that surpasses the scope of single-varietal bottlings. Its layered floral, tropical, spicy flavors and lush texture make it pleasing to the palate as well as complementary to a wide rage of foods. The conundrum-or puzzle-of the wine's exact varietal composition is not revealed but meant to be explored and enjoyed.
