What to Expect

The classic Bordeaux blends rely on either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon for the bulk of the wine with additions of Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec helping to add complexity, color, body and structure to the finished wine.

Winemakers Notes

The 2005 Continuum is a dense, beautifully harmonious, rich and aromatic wine with very expressive and generous flavors. It has a warm and enveloping entry, rich middle palate and long finish. Descriptors include rose petal, brown spice, sandalwood and cardamom, lingering with flavors of graphite and licorice on the finish. It shows a suppleness and generosity that makes it approachable now, with a firmness of supple tannins that promise a long and beautiful life.

Very good wine but young. Decanted for an hour but could have used more time. Bright ripe red fruit in the nose mixed in with spice, caramel and oak. Mellow taste with spice, oak and red fruit under it. Medium finished. Opened up as dinner went a long.

Have two more bottles I'll try to age a bit more to review again.
