WE 91pts. - Tasting Notes - A shiny yellow color with pale gold reflections and a fine clarity this sparkling brut is steady and persistent. Thirty months of fermentation presents this wine with a finesse and complexity rarely seen in a wine this delicate. It has a fragrant intensity pointing out notes of broom and fresh linen yielding aromas of delicate, sweet honey on the final pass. This sparkling wine has a quite stable acidity on the palate and soft fullness in the mouth. The gentle tones of citrus at the finish give a zesty yet light touch making it perfect to drink anytime.

A base sparkling wine made from 80% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Bianco and 10% Pinot Nero, the non-vintage Franciacorta Brut delivers the sophistication and finesse of a top Italian sparkler. It opens with ripe fruit aromas of papaya and apricot backed by blanched almond and yellow rose. There’s a smoky, graphite note that adds sharp definition. Drink: 2014–2018.

A lively bead and firm acidity frame flavors of yellow apple, lemongrass, melon, grapefruit zest and almond skin in this well-knit sparkler. Smoky finish. Drink now.

Chardonnay is the base of this creamy sparkler, with additions of Pinot Bianco and fragrant Pinot Nero. Together, these varieties produce a balanced and rich offering, with lingering aromas of nectarine, apricot, white almond and honey.
