The grapes are hand harvested at optimum ripeness from various areas of the i.p. Mendoza region. The vines are an average of 45+ years old. Each area offers different characteristics and through skillful blending the resulting wine has great finesse and added depth. The oak cask is aged for 6 months in 50% American oak and 50% in French oak.

Richer and fuller than I had any right to believe it would at this stage. Plenty of dark berry fruit left at this stage, earth and moderate tannins combine with still good acidity. Faded some - 86 points - Paul
