beautiful full bodied wine very fruity and great with pasta. Definitely getting this one again!
a good pinot for the buy; it's very light and fruity in the nose. unless you don't like a lot of fruit, then you shouldn't have a problem with it.
For the price it is very reasonable but for it didn't have as much red fruit as I was expecting. Usually find the new world mass market wines have that real fruit intensity but this seemed to have the more mineral aspect. OK but won't be rushing back to it.
The color was a dark ruby color. The nose was cherry and plum. The initial taste was a bit tart but then it smoothed out as it went over the back of the mouth. It went great with grilled salmon!

We're always pleased to taste Pinot Noir that's varietally correct. And correct this is in so many ways. Aromas of raspberries and cherries dominate the palate. This is clearly an expression of New World Pinot Noir with the abundance of fruit!
We're always pleased to taste a Pinot Noir like this one from Cono: bright, fruity, and varietally correct in so many ways. Aromas of raspberries and cherries dominate the palate. The abundant fruit makes this as clear an expression of New World Pinot Noir as anything on our shelves.
TASTING NOTES DRESSED IN THE BEAUTIFUL YELLOW-ORANGE COLOUR CHARACTERISTIC OF VIOGNIER. SWEET NOTES OF APRICOTS AND PEACHES ANTICIPATE FINAL HINTS OF AZAHAR FLOWER NOTES. FRESH AND LIVELY IN MOUTH, THIS VIOGNIER IS FULLY AND SAVOURY. A WINE OF GREAT CHARACTER, DENSITY AND STRUCTURE, WITH A GOOD ACIDITY LEVEL AND GREAT PERSISTENCE. WINEMAKER ADOLFO HURTADO FOOD PAIRING THIS IS A WELL-SUITED WINE FOR DISHES THAT MAY SEEM HARD TO PAIR, SUCH AS SWEET-AND-SOUR PREPARATIONS (GLAZED JAM, TERIYAKI SAUCE). IT ALSO GOES QUITE WELL WITH STIR-FRIES OR WOK-SAUTÉED WHITE MEATS AND VEGETABLES. IN ITS LIST OF FAVOURITE INGREDIENTS ARE DRIED TOMATOES, GINGER, MUSTARD AND SMOKED FLAVOURS. IT'S A GOOD COMPANION FOR THE FIRM MEAT OF FISH ALONG THE LINES OF TUNA, SALMON OR SWORDFISH, ALSO FOR ANY KIND OF CEBICHE. IT ALSO WORKS AS A DESSERT WINE, EVEN MORE SO IF THE MENU INCLUDES VANILLA OR FRUITS. IF YOU ARE PLANNING A CHEESE-AND-WINE, CHOOSE GOUDA OR A YOUNG CHEVRE.
