Conn Creek Anthology 2010

Winemaker's Notes:

Blackberries and plums nestle among cocoa, anise and wildflowers. On the palate a bright opening of black currants leads to a lingering finish of rich chocolaty tannins.

The 2010 Proprietary Red Anthology is outstanding. Rich and full-bodied with lots of black fruits, sweet tannin, a layered mouthfeel, and good purity, elegance and richness make for an impressive wine. Overall, this was the finest portfolio of Conn Creek wines I have tasted in many years. Blackberries and plums nestle among cocoa, anise and wildflowers.
