Appearance: Bright. Colour: Dark and deep red with violet nuances. Nose: Very elegant, complex, strong character of Carmenere, red ripe fruit, spicy with hints of blackberries. Palate: Great structure, mouth-filling, sour chocolate, sweet tannins, powerful and concentrated. Dense, oily with lots of fruit giving a long finish. 85% Carmenere, 13% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2% Cabernet Franc Aged in French oak barrels for 18 months (80% in new barrels, 20% in one year old barrels)
absolutely fantastically smooth and full of flavors that fill up your palate perfectly
Had this with a meal at Fogo de Chao last week. Delicious and versatile. Was pretty much ready to go straight out of the bottle. Definately recommended... Wish I hadn't paid restaurant markup... ouch.
incredible! One of my all time favorite wines. Rich, earthy and herby, wonderful body with soft, silky smooth tannins. Better than some wines I have had costing over double the price. A truly unique and special creation!
Had this wine at Alfano's Restaurant. The combination of authentic Italian food and the mouth filling aromas and richness of this Carmenere was superb! What a delight!! Bright deep red, elegant and exotic. We brought 2 bottlles with us to enjoy at home. I highly recommend it.
