Concha Y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Pinot Noir 2015

External Review:

The 2010 Casillero del Diablo Carmenere contains 15% Cabernet Sauvignon in its makeup and saw 30% of the wine aged for 8 months in barrel. Aromas of spice box, plum, blueberry, and lavender are followed by a sweetly fruited wine with layered flavors and excellent concentration. This excellent value is meant for drinking over the next 4 years.

Forward and direct, showing a range of sour cherry, red licorice and damson plum notes liberally laced with toasty vanilla. Drink now.

Opaque purple. Ripe black and blue fruits on the nose and in the mouth, with a spicy nuance adding energy. Lush and gently sweet, with good finishing breadth and a touch of warmth. This easy-drinking wine should be a crowd-pleaser.
