Pencil eraser, blueberry, olive and peppery notes are what you draw off the bouquet of this ripe yet basic Cab. In the mouth, this feels rubbery and tannic. Flavors of ultraripe black fruits taste sweet and come with licorice and espresso bitterness on the finish, which is mossy, heavy and choppy. Color: Dark ruby red.Bouquet: Luscious aromas of cherry and blackberries intertwine with cedar and smoke.Taste: Concentrated flavors are revealed in firm tannins with a soft, silky texture and a lingering finish. - Winery

Dense, rich and full of dark fruit and spice flavors, supported by muscular tannins and acidity. The dried blackberry, black fig and smoke-infused cocoa powder notes feature some accents of dried meat. Best from 2015 through 2022. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 77,220 cases made. -KM Pencil eraser, blueberry, olive and peppery notes are what you draw off the bouquet of this ripe yet basic Cab. ...has a Burgundian bouquet of mineral, slate, baked apple, poached pear, and smoky oak. It has a viscous texture, layered, ripe fruit, and excellent length. It delivers more than most Chardonnays at 2-3 times the price.

Winemaker's Notes:

Chile has taken the world by storm with the incredible wines that they produce at a great price, and Maipo Valley is known as one of the best areas for Cabernet Sauvignon. This 2011 Concha y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Cabernet Sauvignon has great black fruit with a plumy juiciness. The tannins are ripe and round. "The cool 2011 season isn’t apparent in this cabernet. Instead, it tastes of sweet fruit, with ripe flavors of figs and plums building through the finish. The texture is soft, with a thick velvet nap." - Wine & Spirits *Wine & Spirits: 90 pts.*
