Powerful and refined, featuring flavors of dark plum, mulberry and dried berry that are laced with mint and chocolate notes. Bittersweet chocolate accents show midpalate, with a finish that lingers with pepper and paprika details. Drink now through 2020.

Stands out for its fruit quality, balance and structure. The nose is strong and piercing, with charred notes, black-fruit aromas and depth. Ripe and clean in the mouth, with elevated blackberry flavors and a chewy, meaty mouthfeel. Toasty and tasting of black licorice on the finish. A serious, well-made Chilean Cab to drink now through 2012.

Tasting Notes:Marques de Casa Concha, is dark ruby red in color with luscious aromas of cherry and blackberries intertwined with cedar and smoke. These notes follow through to the palate. Tremendously concentrated flavors are revealed in firm tannins with a soft, silky texture and a lingering finish. - WineryVineyards:Puente Alto Vineyard in Chiles Maipo Valley. River bench associated soils, alluvial, stony, poor in nutrients and highly permeable due to the gravel sub-soil.Winemaking:The grapes are hand harvested in stages throughout April. The wine is aged for 18 months in new (37%) and used (63%) French oak barrels, then aged one month further after bottling.Food Pairing:Enjoy this fine Cabernet Sauvignon with prime red meats, firm cheeses and other rich fare.Alcohol: 14%Acidity: 5.4 g/lResidual Sugar: 2.59 g/l

The cool 2011 season isn’t apparent in this cabernet. Instead, it tastes of sweet fruit, with ripe flavors of figs and plums building through the finish. The texture is soft, with a thick velvet nap.

Pencil eraser, blueberry, olive and peppery notes are what you draw off the bouquet of this ripe yet basic Cab. In the mouth, this feels rubbery and tannic. Flavors of ultraripe black fruits taste sweet and come with licorice and espresso bitterness on the finish, which is mossy, heavy and choppy.
