Rating: 3/5 - As reviewed by Decanter Dark in color, it offers up heaps of ripe plum, earthy, berry and spices in its full-throttle aroma. Rounded by sweet, toasty oak, it is soft and smooth, with just enough earthy flavour and supple tannin to give it a little backbone. Aged for 14 months in

Origin: Peumo Vineyard, Maipo Valley Soil: The former terraces of the Cachapoal River are deep alluvial clay loam. Aging: 14 months in one, two, and three years old French oak barrels, then aged for a further six to 8 months after bottling. Color: Deep purple. Bouquet: Red plums, black peppers, cassis, with hints of spices. Taste: Velvety, firm, ripe tannins imparting smoothness and balance. Subtle hints of vanilla and ripe fruit. Enjoy With: Red and white meats, pasta, cheese.

Origin: Maipo Valley, Puente Alto Vineyard Soil: Alluvial, stony, poor in nutrients and highly permeable due to the gravel sub-soil. Aging: 14 months in one, two, and three years old French oak barrels, then aged for a further six months after bottling. Color: Dark ruby red. Bouquet: Fine red black currants and black plums; with hints of toasty french oak. Taste: Appetizing; smooth, well-rounded and tasteful. Well balance, high fineness and long finish. Enjoy With: Red meats, barbecue, cheese, pasta.
