WA 89 (4/2002): The dark ruby-colored 1994 exhibits blackberry, cassis, pit fruits, and spices in its aromatics. This extremely youthful wine has outstanding depth to its dark, fruit-laden character. It is medium to full-bodied and concentrated, revealing copious quantities of tannin (yet they are ripe) in its firm finish. Anticipated maturity: 2005-2013.
