Concha Xplorador Chardonnay 2008
Everything about this mass-market Chard works. The nose has some pleasant nectarine and apricot aromas, while the mouth is racy and lively, and loaded with mango, pear and honeydew flavors. The finish is fruity, if a tad sweet. Nevertheless itrsquo;s fresh and clean, and it leaves a good lasting impression. Anyone who likes a sweeter-styled white will fancy this.Add winemaker's notes

Given the price range at which this wine completes, itrsquo;s something. The aromas are clean and pure: therersquo;s attractive honey, pineapple and citrus. Cuddly flavors of orange, melon and pear are harmonious, while the finish is clean and pure, albeit short. Medium-bodied and satisfying.
Clean and inoffensive, with light pear and apple aromas. This is usually one of the best inexpensive South American Chardonnays, and itrsquo;s no different this go around. Therersquo;s citrus, melon and structure. Tangy but not sour; sweet but not artificially so.
Fresh pear and apple fruit gets a nice jolt from juicy acidity underneath, with an easy, toasty finish. Super value.
Bright and juicy, with pear and fig fruit, and a dose of toast on the finish that will win its fans. Drink now.
Toasty oak accents a bouquet of pineapple and tropical fruit. Crisp, elegant, round and mouthfilling.
This has plenty of nuance and flavor for an inexpensive Chardonnay, with apple and pear fruit and creamy, spicy accents. The supple mouthfeel has more texture than many more costly wines, and the dry, slightly nutty finish is a winner. Shows balance and restraint, even some depth.
