Concerto Fonterutoli 93js 2013

Winemaker's Notes:

93 Points - James Suckling "A very structured young wine with firm and very silky tannins. The ripe fruit gives lovely aromas and flavors of blackberry, chocolate and spice. It's full and lightly chewy. Plenty of tannin tension. Fascinating now but better in three and four years. This was first made in 1981 and then was stopped in 1994. But the Mazzei family wanted to bring it back now. It's made in the region of Chianti Classico from the Siepi vineyard. 9,000 bottles made. 80% sangivoese and 20% cabernet sauvignon. September 2016 release..." 07/16

On the main square next to the ancient church is the family villa, surrounded by the charming village apartments and suites managed as luxury b&b that can be rented individually or as a single unit.
