Editorial Reviews
A fairly fruity style with typical notes of almost minty cut grass, nettle, kiwi, and mineral tones - fruity in the mouth with a nice richness, plenty of zesty tropical fruits here, kiwi, lime, and a hint of guava, decent balance, all around solid showing, very clean finish is a bit short 85pts

Labeled as Washington State's founding winery this is a solid value wine that is "food friendly." Buttery note pairs nicely with seafood (mostly shellfish), but also has abundant fruit present from crisp apple to "delicate melon."
84/100 points. Pale yellow in color. Bright and refreshing bouquet. Buttery texture leaves a great mouth feel. Strong apple and kiwi up front which leads to a earthy mineral taste; metallic is the word that comes to mind. Hints of vanilla on the back end. Points lost for lack of complexity and lingering metallic taste.
Nicely sweet and acidic with orange, melon and lemon flavors. Great long finish with a bit of spice. Really nice wine.
The nose has a rich peachy aroma, with a mineral mouth that sits well, a touch of sweetness, more peaches on the finish. There is some vanilla and cherry as well. Well composed and eager to please.
There is something wrong with the nose of the reviewer that says there are are notes of cat pee. I have 3 cats and there is no cat pee nose in this wine. This is a light, smooth, buttery wine that goes well with fruit and fish. The predominate flavor is citrus, the finish is short but clean. Women will like this wine. Buy a bottle, you won't be sorry.
I really enjoyed this one! Lemon color in the glass and highly aromatic with honeysuckle and other flowers. Powerful flavor, crisp and elegant. Lots of peach and apricot, with hints of pineapple and orange. Nice complexity for a sauv blanc, perfectly balanced and lingering finish. Highly recommended!
- Schreiner's Winers "Springtime Sauvignon Blanc" Tasting 3/12/10
This sauvignon blanc gives me what I have been looking for in a pinot gris.. This wine is a real buy at $11 which is what I got six for at safeway. It is a real crowd pleaser. Good complexity and an explosion of flavor with a clean finish. Drinking great right now but I suspect it will evolve in the bottle for a year or two..
