Score: N/A Tasting Notes: Whole-berry Chardonnay from select vineyards was pressed. The juice was held at 50 degrees in stainless steel tanks for two days allowing solids to settle. 40% of the clarified juice was barrel fermented in new American and French oak, and 30% in older oak barrels to create complexity and maintain the fruit integrity. 30% of the juice was fermented instainless steel to retain the minerality and fruit-forward, elegant characters unique to the Horse Heaven Hills region. Creamy and vanilla flavors on the nose and palate. Nice finish. Great value!
This is such a spectacular chardonnay! Well balanced tropical fruits with just the right oak and a nice creamy quality but not overly so. Delightful and well worth the price. It's a great value!!
Citrus and buttery nose, leading into a creamy palate with orange notes, and a lengthy finish with notes of lime. Good acidity that cuts through the oak.
This wine is the perfect sipper for me. The balance was perfect - nice crisp acidity and fruit flavors as well as a delightfully buttery body and creamy finish. Highly recommend it as an asperitif, perhaps a nice bath-time drinker.

From Washington comes this easy-to-find and easy-to-afford Chardonnay. It's bright in flavor, supple in texture and brimming with pineapple cream and spice notes that harmonize nicely through the generous finish. Drink now through 2003.
A Washington white whose appeal doesn't stop with its value price, this is light, soft and tangy, with pretty orange peel and creamy notes weaving through the supple pear flavors, the ensemble echoing nicely on the gentle finish. Drink now.
Columbia Crest's Chardonnay is a perennial "best buy" pick and this rendition shows every sign of making the grade again. Pineapple and layers of butterscotch, cinnamon and nutmeg are expressed in the nose. Clean and spicy on the palate, this medium-bodied wine's lingering aftertaste makes this a wine to savor.
Columbia Crest makes three Chardonnays, of which this is the least expensive. It boasts assertive, somewhat herbaceous aromas of peach and spice; the fruit is clean, forward and zesty. It displays a lot character in a vivid style that showcases Washington's intense fruit and lip-smacking acids.
A strong, spicy nose opens into a clean and bracing wine, with a firm structure, full flavors and ripe, fresh fruit. It's not as over the top and user-friendly as the enormously popular 1998 and 1999 versions, but it's darn fine every day go-to bottle.
This crisp, light and appealing Washington wine offers spicy green apple and citrus aromas and flavors that linger on the finish. Drinkable now.
