Columbia Crest Sauvignon Blanc Columbia Valley Two Vines 2009
Great value from a very consistent brand (Two Vines) this is a bit fruitier and significantly lighter bodied than Sauv Blancs from New Zealand. I would give it 3.0 in a blind tasting but considering the price, 3.5Add winemaker's notes

Light, bright and refreshing, with pretty lemon- and cream-tinged pear flavors that linger on the soft finish. A great price from a reliable producer. Drink now.
Fruity, and appealing for its apple and spice flavors at the core, with just-enough herbal and peppery notes to identify it as Sauvignon Blanc. Drink now.
Honeydew and herbal, flinty aromas introduce a hint of wildflower honey on the palate. This is a round, crisp wine that lingers throughout the medium-bodied finish. A blend of 80% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% Sèmillon. A perfect match for oysters on the half shell or cracked crab.
This fresh, lively Sauvignon Blanc opens with aromas of lemon zest, honeydew melon, dried herbs and a hint of freshly cut grass which are typical notes of the variety. Juicy fl avors of melon, gooseberry and kiwi end with a lengthy, bright citrus-like finish.
