Add your reviewBoy, you can sure see the difference between a Cab from WA and one from CA. This is a full-bodied wine, but it is not a "full frontal assault on your palate."There are some blackberry flavors, but that is pretty much it for fruit. I get some light earthiness, but nothing to bother me. Tannins are there and provide nice structure, Finish is remarkably smooth. US$12.99 at WIne Club in Santa Ana.
Great Cabernet for the price. One of Washingtons finest. Deep berry flavor, mildly smokey, cocoa, some rose petal hints and a beautiful lasting finish with well mild tannins. Horse heaven hills is one of my favorite wines.

Very nice cab with prunes, leather and tobacco but without too much tannin. Not overly jammy - good every day drinker.
Dark black berry fruit on the nose with cedar oak notes. Some crushed red berry fruit and hints of coca. On the palate, ripe red and black berry fruit. Ripe, fresh and clean with nice acid and good tannin. Sight hints of menthol, spice and mineral with oak undertones. Tasty and good value for the price.
