Absolutly fantastic... lots of fruit, well balanaced, not at all overly tannoned. Very smooth with a strong woodsy finish. Great deal! Go WA wine! Read more

Picked this up from K&L and now see that Costco is carrying it as well for $11.99. This is a very good Cab for the money. Definitely drinks more like a $20 bottle than a $12 bottle. Not too overpowering fruit forward. Nice acidity. Not over oaked. The Horse Heaven Hills AVA is putting out some amazing stuff these days. Grab this while you can.
The 2007 H3 Cabernet is One Word: Smooth It is an intense fruit forward flavor as promised. A very pleasing balance of berry and earth, yet something else still that I can’t put my finger on. This is smooth and silky, so very drinkable, but with a great mouth feel and nice tannin structure. It’s not too huge which Cabernets can tend to be sometimes, and it’s not too dry either. Drinkable, so very drinkable. In fact, pour me some more?
Winemaker's Notes:
Wine Spectator Review Rated 90 Polished and silky, with ripe blackberry, currant and mint flavors that keep sailing through the long, expressive finish. The tannins are beautifully integrated. Best from 2011 through 2017. Wine Tasting Notes This intense, fruit-forward Cabernet Sauvignon delivers aromas of cherries and huckleberry jam, with a perfect balance of earthy tannins, great focus in the mid-palate and a soft, smooth cocoa finish.
