Better when left open for several minutes. Definite taste of dark cherry with a spicy finish. Acidic, but less so when left to air out a bit. Paid $10.

A blend of 83% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc. This complex Cabernet Sauvignon delivers intense fruit aromas mingled with licorice, spice and slight mint aromatics. Black cherry and cocoa flavors lead to a rich, balanced palate of wood and fruit flavors that cumulate on the lingering finish.

Ripe, polished, opulent style teems with spicy black cherry, raspberry, black olive, bay leaf and sweet spice flavors, which echo against the superfine tannins on the long, generous finish. Drink now through 2013. 4,000 cases made. -HS Wine Spectator. A Cabernet Sauvignon wine from Washington in USA. 2001 Columbia Crest Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve 750ml
