Collazzi Sangiovese Blend Toscana IGT Liberta 2008

External Review by Premier Wine & Spirits:

Fresh and fruity, with clean black cherry, berry and chocolate character. This is slightly loose-knit on the medium palate, but the lingering fresh fruit keeps the interest up. Merlot, Syrah and Sangiovese. Drink now.

The 2008 Liberta from Collazzi is an attractive wine loaded with plump dark fruit and sweet French oak. A blend of 50% Merlot, 25% Syrah and 25% Sangiovese, partly aged in oak, the Liberta is best enjoyed while the fruit is vibrant. Anticipated maturity: 2010andndash;2013.
