Sauvignon Blanc is a fine and elegant style with zesty lemon acidity and length. Varietal characters of passionfruit pulp and gooseberry dominate with hints of lemon peel in the background. The nose shows fragrant lantana and gooseberry characters with underlying passionfruit and lychee aromas. Minerally, stalky notes are evident and provide additional complexity.
Winemaker's Notes:
Color: Pale straw with a tinge of green. Nose: Clean and fresh with attractive notes of lemon rind, lychee and passionfruit. Underlying nougat barrel fermentation characters are present adding further complexity to the wine. Palate: An elegant style with characters of passionfruit, lychee and lemon citrus. Subtle oak is evident underpinning the wine's texture and length. The palate is finely balanced and finishes with chalky lemon acidity.
