Apparently there is a great variance when it comes to ruby port wines. Although the first scent and initial moment of taste tempted a fruity lusciousness, such a hint was plowed by a speeding locomotive of dry, wood flavour. If woody is for you, Cockburns. If you eat enough sugar, this might counterbalance. As for me, pass.
Raspberry, plum and spices. Pairs well with blue cheeses and rich chocolate desserts.
