Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Coconut Rice Sweet Potato Cheesecake

RiceSelect's creamy Arborio gets blended with sweet potato, coconut milk and vanilla to create this decadent cheesecake. Pairs well with Saunternes; a white dessert wine that has hints of coconut from aging in oak barrels.

Winemaker's Notes:

"The 2008 Corton-Charlemagne is flat out brilliant. The very youthful nose soars from the glass in a blaze of iodine, wet stones, grapefruit, apple, lemon peel and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and backwards, with immense mid-palate depth, great focus and balance and a stunning grip and cut on the very racy and very, very minerally finish. Stunning quality...96+" JG 11/09 "Upright and serious wine with aromas of apple, spices and crushed stone. Almost painful in the mouth, with a steely mineral spine giving the wine uncanny cut. This boasts outstanding structure for aging... 96" IWC 09/10
