Cobb Joy Road Pinot Noir 2007

Winemaker's Notes:

Aroma of herbs and spice. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, cola, earth, minerals and graphite. Crisp, tangy, delicate tannins and a nice long finish. This 2-acre vineyard is farmed organically and is located a short distance from Coastlands Vineyard, near Occidental, north of San Francisco. The vineyard is owned by Terry Adams. The vines are closely spaced and planted to a unique mix of Pinot Noir varieties. The soils are sandy loams typical of the ridge tops of this portion of western Sonoma County.

Suggested Recipe Pairing presented by
Layered Rice Pudding

RiceSelect's fragrant Jasmati® is blended with eggs, milk and fall's favorite spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, to create a delicious rice pudding, which is layered on top of fluffy cream cheese and abuttery pecan crust. Pairs well with a bold, tawny port with flavors of dried fruits, nuts, and spices.
