Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc Nova Zelandia Sauvignon Blanc Marlborough Cloudy Bay S 2006

The palate has exceptional richness, with ripe gooseberry flavours and a hint of fresh fennel leading to a powerful, crisp finish.

High acidity and smple savy tones. Not a leader anymore in NZ savy styles. A little thin fruit and short depth that is overpowered by its apple crisp acidity
Nice vintage from this well known NZ winery. Fresh and subtle nose of green apple and some grapefruit. Then it stays on this smart acidity and pair well with fish: I enjoyed a lightly smoked salmon with some aspergus.
Of course lemon/lime/grapefruit on the nose but with a hint of evergreen rounding it out nicely. The killer acidity is balanced by a roundly textured very ripe pink grapefruit!
joy in a bottle! a crisp bouquet with full bodied citric and green apple characters rounded by mown hay and smooth undertones of hazelnut. one of very few sauv blancs to offer an alternative to the standard fare of watery florals or overly sweet fruit punch
The definitive New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Fresh grassy aromas with subtle tones of lime and greenapples.
