High acidity and smple savy tones. Not a leader anymore in NZ savy styles. A little thin fruit and short depth that is overpowered by its apple crisp acidity
Nice vintage from this well known NZ winery. Fresh and subtle nose of green apple and some grapefruit. Then it stays on this smart acidity and pair well with fish: I enjoyed a lightly smoked salmon with some aspergus.
Of course lemon/lime/grapefruit on the nose but with a hint of evergreen rounding it out nicely. The killer acidity is balanced by a roundly textured very ripe pink grapefruit!
