Pours a clear pale straw color. Very light. THe aromas are definitely that of a SB from NZ. There are lots of citrus, peaches and passion fruit aromas. Starts off quite sweet with ample passion fruit flavors. In the middle there is plenty of lemons, tangerines and grapefruit. On the back end, there are more citrus flavors mixed with ample passion fruit. This is a quite acidic wine that has all the makings of a true SB from NZ. This is a quite refreshing light to medium bodied wine. Leaves a moderate taste on the palate. A fair value on this tasty wine.

Pale straw green in color and enticingly fragrant, the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc offers lifted aromas of ripe stonefruit and juicy citrus with underlying notes of blackcurrant leaf and tomato plant spice. The palate is fine yet succulent, with zesty citrus flavors and fresh acidity. There is an appealing plushness about this wine especially as it leads into a lingering and characteristically crisp finish. Not yet reviewed; 2010 vintage rated 92 points by Wine Spectator.

This Marlborough classic remains on form, artfully blending pineapple and crushed tomato leaf notes. If itandrsquo;s a bit leaner than some examples from the region, itandrsquo;s also more elegant and refined; less explosive and flamboyant, but tighter and more focused.

Focused and pure, offering a tangy expression of balanced lemon, white peach, tangerine, passion fruit, melon and green tea notes. This is powerful in its persistence and juiciness, yet maintains an air of elegance. Drink now.

This clear, light brass-colored wine bursts from the glass with mixed citric aromas of fresh grapefruit and the characteristic herbal scents of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. Itrsquo;s perhaps not quite as over-the-top with green chili pepper and jalapentilde;o aromas as some vintages, but yoursquo;ll find plenty of green pepper and snappy citrus in its fresh, full flavor. Perfect with a vegetarian entreacute;e designed to match its herbaceous nature: Fresh asparagus spears and a light puree of asparagus, green peppers and onions over gorgonzola polenta.

Only in recent years have the delicious wines of New Zealand become widely known outside their own country, and if any one winery from this beautiful island nation has led the charge, it is Cloudy Bay, and in particular its highly acclaimed Sauvignon Blanc. The 2000 vintage, which I had the good fortune to try at the winery last November, has finally reached local shops in most parts of the world.

This stylish white has more pizzazz than most. Crisp in texture, ripe in flavor, with passion fruit and pear flavors up front, picking up hints of mint, celery and grapefruit as the finish lingers. Drink now.
