This is a very fine Petit Chablis. Had this at a tasting with four Chablises of which two were 1er cru, and this one held up very well. Fine mineral tones and light fruit on the palate, holds quite long. The low price is considered in the rating. Recommended.

Clotilde's wines are complex and beguiling. This one, for example, has lots of texture on the palate indicative of oak aging. Yet the wine sees no wood! The nose in very citrusy, a flavor which, along with mineral, carries through to the palate and finish. Take our advise and decant.

Clotilde's wines are all complex and beguiling. This one has lots of texture on the palate that seems to indicate oak aging - yet the wine sees no wood! The nose in very citrusy, a flavor which, along with mineral, carries through to the palate and finish. Take our advice: decant this wine before you enjoy it.

Hand harvested from one of the largest Grand Cru sites in Chablis, this powerhouse Chardonnay is cool fermented to preserve the balance of power and delicacy of mineral flavors. Months resting on the lees add to the full mouth-feel and elegant finish. Decanting is suggested.
